Suzuki Experience


A five-day event for students, parents and teachers from Belize City and beyond. There would be masterclasses, group classes, performances and more for violin, viola and cello.

Basic Information

All information is subject to change. Kindly check the website regularly for up-to-date information!

​Held in-person at Pallotti School of Music on Princess Margaret Drive in Belize City. Parking is available on the compound.

What to have: Students should have what they normally bring to a lesson. One parent or guardian is expected to stay with their child for the entirety of the sessions. 

What to wear: Wear something comfortable to move and participate as you would in any class. Masks are optional but encouraged.


Monday – Friday

  • Book 1-3 students: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
  • Book 4 and 5 students: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm ( 1 Hour lunch)
  • Teachers may observe any group class or Masterclass from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.
  • Teacher Workshops will be held 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
  • Teachers can also sign up for Master Classes.
  • The recital will be held on Friday, July 7 at 1:00 pm.

Student Activities

  • Book 1-5 – Masterclasses, group classes, chamber, percussion, art, and recital.
  • Pre-Twinkle – Masterclasses, group classes, play-ins, recital, and percussion.

Masterclasses – During the masterclasses, students take turns performing for a master teacher and receive feedback in front of their peers. For the remainder of the class, they learn through observation. Masterclasses will be held every day.

Group Classes – In a group class, students review common repertoire by joining in fun activities with their peers.

  • Tuesday, July 4 – Group Class Technique
  • Wednesday, July 5 – Working with Parents (This session will be held off campus. Location TBA)
  • Thursday, July 6 – Vibrato
  • Friday, July 7 – Bow Arm
